| This 3-star hotel is located near (west) of the Marina Cayo Largo, about 5 minutes from international airport. It was inaugurated in 2003. Before customers had to book directly with the management, but in fall 2012 it is now sold by foreign tour operators like any other hotels in Cayo Largo. |

The bungalows are divided into two sectors (rows): 11 ocean view rooms and 11 standard rooms (located behind the ocean view bungalows). The standard cabanas have been built recently (2010). Please note that this hotel is offer in all-inclusive package. This hotel is mostly for customers going to Cayo Largo for scuba diving, deep sea fish (the Avalon office is being located in the area) or simply those who find the other hotels (± 6 km east) in Cayo Largo not close enough to the animation. The proximity of the hotel in the village give you the opportunity for shopping at the store (and art crafts), go to the bank to get a better exchange rate than hotels, take a lunch at the Taberna del Pirata or have a delicious dinner at El Torreon not to mention a visit to the turtle farm to discover the wonderful world of sea turtles.
For hotel guests, the boat transfer is included from the Marina Cayo Largo to the beautiful beach of Playa Sirena (arrived at the dock near the resto-bar). The boat leaves the marina is at 9 am every day. There are two hours to return from Playa Sirena (1 pm and 5 pm). You can not go to Playa Sirena by taxi from Villa Marinera. You might take the bus for 2 CUC to get to one of the hotels in Cayo Largo. From there, you can pay a taxi or the small train (free). A shuttle bus going back and forth twice a day between the hotel Playa Blanca and the Villa Marinera. Guests have free access to all hotel services including (twice a week) an evening transfer to enjoy the show of Playa Blanca (open air theater).
