The hotel, whose name comes from its building architecture in the shape of a snail, is situated on frontline of the fine white sanded beach of Santa Lucía. Exuberant tropical gardens with grape vines, palms and coconut trees surround its bungalows. The coast of Camagüey is home to the second extensive coral reef barriers in the world, making Hotel Caracol an ideal destination for those scuba diving enthusiasts. In addition, there is an international marine/diving centre just 1 km away from the hotel. |

Hotel Caracol operates on an All Inclusive basis, offering all the comforts with a highly personal touch in service and a family-oriented environment. Available are such sports facilities and equipment as a large swimming pool with a kids area, tennis court, water sports, various games and bicycles. There is a variety of activities for the whole family, from dance lessons to programmes for infants. It’s an ideal vacation destination for families as well as couples seeking relaxation and tranquillity and newlyweds looking for a romantic honeymoon.
General Facilities: Hotel Caracol consists of 41 bungalows with a total of 150 mini suites, 2 of which are specially fitted for handicapped guests. All suites have a bedroom, living room, a terrace or balcony with views of the sea, pool or gardens and a complete bathroom with hairdryer. All come equipped with satellite TV, telephone, safe box ($), air conditioning, and
mini refrigerator. The maximum occupation is 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Voltage: 220 V.

Bars and Restaurants: The hotel has a great selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, offering national and international cuisines, in buffet style or a la carta, and light snacks. Buffet Puerto Príncipe Breakfast 07:30 - 09:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:00, Dinner 18:30 - 21:30. Italian Restaurant Capitán Grillo Dinner (a la carta) 19:00 – 21:30. (reservation required)
